By registering for or using TradesSite ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. The Service is operated by Websites Built Fast.

The Service

TradesSite provides free and paid website hosting for UK tradespeople. By registering, you receive a subdomain in the format yourname.tradessite.co.uk and access to a website builder dashboard.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and based in the United Kingdom to use the Service. By registering you confirm this is the case.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• One account per business. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts may be removed.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service to promote a legitimate UK trades business. You must not use the Service to:

• Publish false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Impersonate another business or individual.
• Upload illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Distribute spam or use contact forms for unsolicited marketing.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (text, images, logos). By uploading content you grant us a licence to store and display it as part of your website. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload.

Free tier

The free tier is provided at no cost and includes a TradesSite-branded footer and promotional banner on your site. We reserve the right to display tasteful advertising or promotional content on free tier sites. This will be removed on any paid plan.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or technical issues.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are inactive for more than 12 months, or are used for fraudulent purposes. Where possible we will give notice before taking action. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Limitation of liability

TradesSite and Websites Built Fast are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
